CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The Albany County Airport Authority is seeking a CFO for the Albany International Airport, Albany, NY.
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate financial and accounting system and controls for the Albany International Airport.
The successful candidate will have A) Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or business administration and five (5) years of experience in financial or accounting administration; or B) Master’s degree in accounting, finance and/or business administration and four (4) years of experience in financial or accounting administration. CPA and Airport experience is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

PRIMEFLIGHT AVIATION
PrimeFlight Aviation is seeking qualified individuals to assist passengers at Albany International Airport. Duties include carrying passengers’ carry-on luggage, providing wheelchair assistance and assisting them to the airline gates and baggage claim area.
Applications can be obtained from and submitted to airport skycaps that are stationed at curbside in front of the terminal.
Wage: $7.15 per hour plus tips.

Airport Operations Officer
One vacancy currently exists in the Airport Operations/Security Department for the entry level position of Airport Operations Officer.
Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the airport operations supervisor(s) the airport operations officer will ensure airport compliance with FAR Part 139, CFR 1542, as well as other state and local regulations. The Operations Officers primary duty is to ensure operational safety and security of the facility.
Duties and skills required include: The position requires coordinating the inspection and maintenance in the air operations area (AOA) and terminal complex while ensuring compliance with FAA and TSA Regulations. Researching, preparing, and presenting oral and written reports for official investigations. Responds to damage, injury, and other miscellaneous incidents and occurrences, collects information needed to prepare reports for use by management staff. Assists with enforcing noise abatement programs including: receiving, managing, and documenting noise complaints. Performs other operations related duties and handles special project assignments. The applicant must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment requiring multi-tasking skills. Must be computer savvy, including working with PC’s in the windows environment and be able to type at least 20 WPM. Must be able to meet and maintain Federal security requirements for unescorted access into all operations areas. A valid state driver’s license is required as a condition of employment. The position requires shift work and union membership is required.
Preferred qualifications: Associates or Bachelors Degree in airport management / aviation preferred. A private pilot’s license/ or prior work experience in the field of aviation is a plus.
Wage: 11.13 per hour
