Smoking is not permitted in the Albany International Airport. Designated smoking areas are provided outside of the terminal on the ground floor level. Smoking is permitted in the parking garage.

The non-smoking policy of the Albany International Airport also extends to the Airport Parking Shuttle's and Albany Yellow, the taxi company that contractually serves the airport.
