DELTA AIRLINES TO INCREASE SERVICE AT ALBANY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Albany, NY (September 22, 2004) - - - Rev. Michael A. Farano, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority today announced that Delta Airlines will increase service between Albany International Airport and Atlanta International Airport.

Beginning January 31, 2005 Delta Airlines will offer two additional flights between Albany and Atlanta, bringing to six the total of Delta’s daily non-stop flights between Albany and Atlanta. In January of 2004, Delta Airlines increased its service from Albany to Atlanta from three to four daily flights.

The growth in Albany flights is in response to an increase in Albany’s passenger volume and Delta’s network restructuring plan which allows its Atlanta hub to schedule flights more efficiently. Under the new schedule, flights will arrive in and depart from Atlanta in a steady stream throughout the day making it possible for Delta Airlines to increase customer service while safeguarding on-time performance.

"Delta’s decision to increase flights at Albany International Airport will provide business and leisure travelers with added frequency and additional flexibility in planning their trip," said Rev. Farano. "The enhanced service to Atlanta will also offer our passengers added connections to Delta’s extensive network of international flights."

Delta’s schedule as of January 31, 2005 is as follows:

Albany International Airport served over 1.4 million passengers in 2003. In Addition to Atlanta, Delta Airlines offers non-stop service between Albany and Cincinnati.
