Albany, NY (Dec. 29, 2001) - - - Rev. Michael A. Farano, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority today announced that Continental Connection and US Airways Express will add a total of six flights to the rebounding schedule at Albany International Airport. The additional flight destinations include Boston, Burlington, LaGuardia and the resumption of non-stop air service to Washington's Reagan National Airport.

"Continental Connection has shown consistent growth in both destinations and passenger volume since beginning operations at Albany International Airport just one year ago," said Rev. Farano. "The restoration of US Airways Express non-stop service to Washington's Reagan National airport will once again provide Capital Region businesses, government agencies and leisure travelers with a direct link to the nation's capital."

Continental Connection will add one flight to Burlington, increasing its daily service from three to four flights and add one flight to Boston which will increase service from two to three daily flights. With the additional flights, Continental Connection will be operating 42 daily flights from Albany International Airport. Continental Connection is operated by CommutAir for Continental Airlines.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has approved the resumption of US Airways non-stop service from Albany International Airport to Washington's Ronald Reagan National Airport beginning March 1.
