Airport Ambassadors

The Information desk is close to and visible from the terminal entrance, so that information and any necessary help can be provided early.  There are two information desks here at Albany International Airport: the first is located on the ground floor of the A Concourse close to the entrance, and the second is located in the departure sterile area beyond the TSA re-composure area.

The routes to the information desks and check-in counters are short, direct, and clear. The desks and counters are designed to facilitate easy communication between persons with reduced mobility and airport staff members and air carrier personnel. One section of an information desk and the check-in counter has a height of 75 cm. suitable for wheelchair users.

Here at Albany International Airport, we have self-service automated check-in kiosks. These kiosks are designed in such a way that they are easily accessible to persons with disabilities, including those with reduced mobility as specified by the regulations.
