Opened in January 2026, Albany International Airport’s Nursing Mothers’ Room provides a private, comfortable space for nursing mothers and families traveling with young children.
The room features two private nursing areas with comfortable seating in a calm, relaxing setting, along with a small family area with a table, bookshelf, and toys to help keep toddlers occupied. It represents a significant upgrade from the Mamava Pod previously located in Concourse A.
Location
The Nursing Mothers’ Room is located in the center of ALB’s main terminal, past the TSA security checkpoint, and is a short walk from all three concourses.
Art & Design
The space features black-and-white photography by Lucy Bohnsack, presented through Albany International Airport’s Art & Culture Program, adding warmth and a human touch to the room.
Designed with guidance from St. Peter’s Health Partners, the Nursing Mothers’ Room reflects ALB’s ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming and accessible airport experience for all travelers.
